Development Legislation

The growing complexities of local governance require the enactment of local laws or ordinances which are necessary not only in improving quality but more importantly in attaining sustained development. The laws, whether the Constitution or a statute or local ordinance, are instruments of public governance.

The Sangguniang Bayan of Guiguinto has been working harmoniously with the Executive Branch of the Local Government in constituting vital legislative measures for the benefit and welfare of the Guiguinto constituents and also in support to the national government. The pleasant relationship between the Executive and the Legislative Branch of the Municipal Government has been very compelling in the immediate implementation of projects and services for the people of Guiguinto.

For the year 2006, the Sangguniang Bayan approved 130 resolutions and enacted 11 ordinances. The following are included in the list.

• Kautusan 063 S-2006

Na muling nag-uuri sa Lupang Agrikultural na pag-aari ng Golden Heritage Memorial Gardenna nasasakupan ng Barangay Tabang na may kabuuang sukat na 16,500 metro kuwadrado sa ilalim ng TCT Blg. RT-41075 (T25434), TCT Blg. RT-41075 (T-25432) tungo sa pagiging lupang komersyal at nagpapatibay sa Develoment Plan na ito ay gagawing makabagong libingan (memorial Garden)

• Ordinance 064 S-2006

Creating Task Force on Condification of the Ordinances on Health and Sanitation Code, Environmenta Code and Transportationand Traffic Code.

• Kautusan 065 S-2006

Na nagpapatatag ng gampanin tungkulin at kapangyarihan ng Local Health Board upang makatugon sa pangangailangan ng mga programang pangkalusugan.

• Ordinance 066 S-2006

An ordinance on Revenue Code of the Municipality of Guiguinto, Bulacan.

• Ordinance 068 S-2006

Enacting the supplemental budget no. 1 of the Municipality of Guiguinto Bulacan amounting to six million, seven hundred thirty thousand six hundred fifteen pesos and forty eight centavos (P6,730,615.48)

• Ordinance 069 S-2006

An ordinance enacting the Municipal Environmental Code of Guiguinto, Bulacan

• Ordinance 070 S-2006

On Municipal Disaster Management

• Ordinance 071 S-2006

An ordinance enacting the Guiguinto Municipal Transportation and Traffic Code

• Municipal Appropriation Ordinance No. 072 S-2006

An ordinance enacting the municipal budget for the General Fund of the Municipal Government of Guiguinto, Bulacan for the calendar year 2007 amounting to P123,158,460.40 and for other purposes.

• Ordinance No. 073 S-2006

Enacting the supplemental budget no. 2 of the Municipality of Guiguinto Bulacan amounting to four million, three hundred fifty eight thousand three pesos and twenty five centavos (P4,358,003.25)

• Kautusan Blg. 074 S-2006

Na muling nag-uuri sa lupaing agricultural na may loteng Blg. 1292, Cadastral Survey of Guiguinto Plan AP-15152, LRC Case No. N-Citihomes Realty, Inc. at may sukat na 14,547 metro kuwadrado tungo sa lupang residensyal at pinagtitibay ang Development Plan na ito ay gawing isang subdibisyon.
